Manbir Nagra

Dr Manbir Nagra is a UK qualified optometrist with over 20 years of experience including working as a university academic, a charity board member, a clinician, and as an independent consultant. Manbir undertook her PhD in the field of myopia, an MA in Academic Practice, and holds fellowships with the American Academy of Optometry and the BCLA. Manbir is also former Clinical Editor (Optometry) of the trade journal Optician.
Manbir currently leads the BCLA’s education committee, represents the BCLA on the Global Myopia Awareness Coalition, and works as a contractor in global medical affairs for a contact lens company. She has lectured internationally on the topic of refractive error, is a contributor to the BCLA CLEAR reports, the IMI paper on myopia interventions, and to an upcoming Cochrane review.
