Maarten van Hoey

Maarten Van Hoey is an optometrist, medical contact lens specialist, and working partner at Lens Optical Technology, a company dedicated to advanced, high-quality contact lens fittings across multiple locations in Belgium. He is clinically active at UZA Antwerp, AZ Delta, and Brussels Eye Doctors, where he primarily focuses on complex and medically indicated contact lens cases.

With a background in Optometry (Hogeschool Utrecht), Maarten combines extensive clinical expertise with a strong interest in innovative lens technologies and interdisciplinary collaboration within eye care.

In addition to his clinical practice, Maarten is a lecturer in contact lenses at Odisee University of Applied Sciences, where he shares his experience, practical insight, and enthusiasm for the profession with future eye care specialists.
