Bart van der Linden, MSc PhD, is Managing Director / CEO of Menicon Netherlands. He received his PhD in Biomechanical Engineering at the University of Twente (NL). Started his career at Menicon (formerly known as NKL) 25 years ago as product and process engineer for the development of made to order contact lenses and the process of manufacturing and the software supported fitting of lenses. He has developed several GP, Made To Order soft and scleral lens designs all under his management, creating a full portfolio of MTO lenses for the Menicon group globally.
