Dave Block

Dave Block studied optics and contact lenses at Gilde Opleidingen in Roermond. After this, he specialized in dry eye and ophthalmic diagnostics by doing internships with various ophthalmologists and hospitals. Dave obtained his fellowship from the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) in 2019, his fellowship from the Royal Society For Public Health in 2023 and his IACLE fellowship in January 2024. Dave currently works at Alcon Vision Care Benelux as Professional Education & Development manager where he is engaged in lecturing and training in the field of contact lenses and ocular health.
