Cristian Mertz

Cristian Mertz graduated as an optometrist in 2009. After graduation he began working in various contact lens practices and hospitals where he focused on specialty contact lens fitting. In 2012, he started as a consultant for Microlens and the following years helped them developing their international contact lens business. After the acquisition of Microlens by Ophtecs Japan, he became responsible for the business development and professional services of the European branch of Ophtecs. In 2020, he made the move back into practice and is working for Oculenti in their hospital practices.
