Jelle Vehof

Jelle Vehof, MD, PhD, is an epidemiologist and ophthalmologist, and received his medical and doctoral degrees at the University Medical Center Groningen in the Netherlands. He founded the Dutch Dry Eye Clinic, a national referral center for dry eye and blepharitis patients in the Netherlands. His research group aims to unravel the epidemiology and genetics of dry eye disease. He is TFOS ambassador for the Netherlands, and an author of the TFOS DEWS II and TFOS A Lifestyle Epidemic reports, and currently working on the upcoming TFOS DEWS III workshop.
