Dr. Lynette Johns is a research associate at Harvard medical school department of ophthalmology. She exclusively fits scleral lenses at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary-Waltham office. She is an author and co-editor with Melissa Barnett of the textbook: Contemporary Scleral Lenses: Theory and Application. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, Scleral Lens Education Society and the British Contact Lens Association. Dr. Johns received the Founders’ Award from the AAO section of Cornea and Contact Lenses and Refractive Technologies in 2017, and the EFCLIN award in 2018. She has published and speaks internationally on scleral and specialty contact lenses and severe ocular surface disease.
