In order to provide you with the best possible service, we have provided an overview of frequently asked questions below. First check if your question is in this list before you contact the NCC. We regularly update the overview.

Frequently Asked Questions about the postponed conference:

Has the congress been cancelled?
No, the NCC2020 – Beyond 2020 conference hasn’t been cancelled. It has been moved to a later date: 13 & 14 March 2022. 

When will the new congress take place?
On Sunday 13 and Monday 14 March 2022.

Can I use my NCC2020 ticket for the 2022 congres?
Yes, no action is required , your ticket will automatically be valid on 13 and/or 14 March 2022. We will send you a confirmation email including a NCC2022 entrance ticket before the start of the congress. More information can be found on your MyNCC account.

Why wouldn’t I cancel my NCC2020 ticket?
If you hold on to your ticket, you are guaranteed of a ticket for the NCC2022 congress, for the 2020 price and conditions. You do not have to pay anything extra in 2022. We hope you chose this option so the NCC can continue organizing a fantastic conference in 2022.

Can I transfer my NCC2020 ticket to another person?
Most certainly, you can transfer and/or amend a ticket at any time via yourMyNCC account. The tickets can be downloaded via the MyNCC account and will be sent to you via email.

Can my NCC2020 ticket be cancelled free of charge?
Yes, it is possible to cancel ticket(s) free of charge via your MyNCC account. You will receive a credit note. Did you pay via credit card? Have the following details available: IBAN number and BIC/Swift code. When you live outside the EU, follow the instructions on the screen.

I don’t have a MyNCC account. How do I cancel my NCC2020 ticket?
By navigating to the ticket environment, you can afterwards activate an account by clicking on ‘Ordered without account? Activate account’. Use the same email address as where the tickets are booked with.

When do I have to decide if I want to cancel my ticket?
You can cancel or transfer your NCC2020 ticket  for free until 16 July 2020. After 16 July 2020, a € 30 admin fee will be charged. This will automatically be deducted from your refund.

I cancelled my ticket, will I be able to order a new ticket in the future?
Yes, your MyNCC account will remain active, so it will be easy for you to order new ticket. Take note: cancellation means you will only be able to participate in 2022 at the terms and conditions and prices applicable at that time.

I did not create a MyNCC account, how will I receive my new ticket?
All tickets will be newly generated and sent out via email when the new NCC 2022 website is available.

I only want to cancel one single ticket from my group booking?
This is not a problem, you can cancel individual tickets from the group booking via your MyNCC account.

How quickly will I be refunded if I cancel my NCC2020 ticket?
We hope that you will continue to support the NCC and hold on to your ticket however, if you still decide to cancel, you will be refunded within approximately one week if you paid via iDeal. If you paid via a credit card, this will take longer, and we will need the following bank details: IBAN number and BIC/Swift code upon cancellation.

Room bookings

Can I transfer my hotel reservation to the NCC2022 congress?
Yes, it is possible to transfer your booking, if you reserved your room via the special event-link on the NCC website at NH De Koningshof. Please email NH De Koningshof  before July 16th 2020 via groups.nhkoningshof@nh-hotels.com and mention your reservation number in the subject line (7XXXXXXX or 8XXXXXXX).

Can I cancel my hotel room?
Yes, it is possible to cancel your hotel room, if you reserved your room via the special event-link on the NCC website at NH De Koningshof. Please email NH De Koningshof  before July 16th 2020 via groups.nhkoningshof@nh-hotels.com and mention your reservation number in the subject line (7XXXXXXX or 8XXXXXXX).

I did not book my room via the special event-link of NH De Koningshof, can I still cancel my room?
No, unfortunately we have no control over bookings made via external parties or directly via NH De Koningshof. Please contact your booking organization of the NH De Koningshof to check their terms and conditions.

I reserved the hotel room via the special event-link, but I have not received any response from NH De Koningshof?
Please contact NH De Koningshof  before July 16th 2020 via groups.nhkoningshof@nh-hotels.com and mention your reservation number in the subject line (7XXXXXXX or 8XXXXXXX).

I did not respond to earlier emails from NH De Koningshof to transfer my March booking to September. Can I still do this?
If you reserved your room via the special event-link on the NCC website, and you didn’t respond to the email offering to move your reservation to September 2020, your reservation was automatically cancelled without a refund. However, NH De Koningshof has kindly offered an option to move your reservation to March 2022. Please contact NH De Koningshof  before July 16th 2020 via groups.nhkoningshof@nh-hotels.com and mention your reservation number in the subject line (7XXXXXXX or 8XXXXXXX). An administration fee of € 25,00 will be charged.

General Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find the invoice of my order?
When you have successfully completed your order you will receive by email an order confirmation. This order confirmation also includes the invoice. You can also, after you have completed the order, log into your ‘My NCC’ account to retrieve your e-ticket and invoice.

The NCC website isn’t working very well at my computer/tablet/smartphone?
Please try another browser (for example Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox).

How do I register myself?
Registration for the NCC 2020 is mandatory but very simple. Registration is done via the website www.ncc2020.com. On this website you can indicate which package you want to book. There are 4 options:
1. Business pack (Access Sunday 15 and Monday 16 March 2020 and access to dinner on Sunday 15 March 2020)
2. Access Sunday 15 March 2020
3. Access Monday March 16 2020
4. Access to congress dinner on 15 March 2020.
After the choice of your package there are different ways to pay. After payment you will immediately receive your E-Ticket by email. It remains available and when you have created a My NCC account, you can download it. Print this E-ticket and take it to the congress.

How can I book a room?
You can find all the hotel information, including a booking-link, via www.ncc2020.com/hotels.

How can I pay?
The NCC offers a number of different options for payment. Please note that there are additional costs associated with some payment methods. These costs are clearly stated with the options.

Can I also buy on credit?
The NCC offers different payment options and whatever option you choose you always receive an invoice. If you want to register a group we offer the possibility to buy on credit. This option is automatically offered as soon as you register more than two people. Please note that additional administration costs are charged for paying on invoice.

VAT Reversed Charged?
The NCC takes place in the Netherlands and so the legislation of the Netherlands applies. So for all visitors, the entrance tickets for the congress are taxed with (Dutch) VAT. All tickets are ordered via the regular ticket system and the entrance fees are not included in the stand rental, this means that no visitor (including the Belgian visitor with a stand during the conference) is eligible for the reverse charge. So everyone who orders tickets must pay Dutch VAT (21%).

Where can I find the Chamber of Commerce and  VAT numbers?
The Chamber of Commerce (44153846) and VAT number (NL007393349B01) are printed on the automatically generated invoice (footer).

Why do I need to create a ‘My NCC’ account?
Simple. You only need to fill in a few details once and they will be filled in at the next visit
Easy. You can download your tickets at a later time
Handy. You can view your order history.
Smart. You can add any information (eg KP / KABIZ) to your account later so that you never have to look for it again.

The data is handled strictly confidentially as described in the Privacy Statement on the website. This is based on the EU regulations that have been in force since May 2017.

I have already registered and paid for 1 day, and would like to add  another day. How do I manage this?
Go to My NCC, log in and you can make an additional purchase such as an extra day or dinner. You can then pay this additional purchase in the manneryou prefer. Note: you will receive a new E-Ticket! Take the correct  ticket with you to the congress.

I have registered myself for a lecture / workshop, but I prefer to follow another lecture; can I change this?
Registration entitles you to access the entire congress and you don’t have to be registered separately prior to a lecture or workshop. In general, whoever enters the room first has priority. When there is a lot of enthusiasm (crowded room) for a lecture, the congresss organiszation can decide to repeat the lecture or workshop.

I have registered already for the conference but not for the congress dinner; however I now want to attend the congress dinner. What can I do?
Go to My NCC, log in and you can purchase a ticket for the congress dinner. There is also an opportunity to make food allergies or special dietary requirements known. You can then pay this additional purchase in the way you prefer. Note you will receive a new E-Ticket !! Take the correct ticket with you  to the congress. 

I have registered, but I can’t attend  at all. How can I cancel my registration?
Via My NCC you can cancel your registration until February 19, 2020; you will receive a credit note. Please note that for cancellation of your registration 30 Euro administration costs will be charged. This is automatically deducted from your refund.

I have registered for two days but I can only attend for one day. How can I change that?
You can adjust you registration via MijnNCC; you will receive a credit note and for ‘down sizen’ of your ticket a administration fee of 30 Euro will be charged. Please note that this option is possible until February 19, 2020; after this date no more changes can be made and there will be no refund of any non-used days.

I haven’t been attending the NCC congress, or I haven’t been all days; can I get my money back?
If, regardless of the circumstances, you have not been able to attend all days, or not at all, it is not unfortunately possible to claim a refund for  the missed day (s).

I have registered myself and paid but I haven’t received the tickets or an invoice by email?
First check My NCC very carefully if you have entered the correct email address and check whether the email from the NCC has ended up in your SPAM box. If this is not the case, please send an email with the order number to info@contactlenscongress.com and we will reply  as soon as possible.

I have registered but I also want to stay overnight. Where and how can I book a hotel room?
The NCC is organized at the NH Conference Center Koningshof in Veldhoven. This hotel has 509 rooms. You can book your room directly via the hotel. We expect a high number of attendees so please book at your earliest convenience.

I would like to receive my KP / KABIZ points. How does that work?
1. Enter your KB / Kabiz number in My NCC.
2. Within one month after the congress you will receive evidence of participation and the number of credits (15 March 7.5 points and 16 March 6.5 points)
3. No number, no certificate. Reporting your attendance afterwards is not possible.

I have forgotten to enter my KP / KBIZ or I have entered my KP / KBIZ number incorrectly. How can I change this?
In My NCC you can add or correct your KP / KABIZ number until March 11, 2020. After that date we are truly sorry, but: no number, no certificate.

How and where to travel in the Netherlands?
The NCC conference will be held in the NH Koningshof venue in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. The easiest way to travel is either via Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) or via Eindhoven Airport (EIN).

From Schiphol Airport, there is a direct train connection to Eindhoven Central Station that leaves every 30 minutes (–:18, and –:48) from platform 3 (subject to change). The train ride to Eindhoven takes approximately 1.5 hours. Train tickets can be bought in the ARRIVAL hall of Schiphol Airport at the ticket machines or at the NS Service Desk. More information on the train schedule at https://www.ns.nl/en/travel-information.

There are taxi’s and Ubers available at Eindhoven Airport and  Eindhoven Central Station that can bring you to the NCC venue.
